Bank Robber Remains at Large

On Monday afternoon just after 4:30, a panic alarm at the Horizon Credit Union in Spokane Valley sounded, and an employee reported the credit union was robbed by a man who handed a teller a note saying she would be shot if she didn’t give him money. Deputies quickly arrived and set up a perimeter to conduct a search for the suspect, who was last seen fleeing on foot. They called in a K9 Unit but the suspect was not found. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’05” tall, wearing gray sweatpants, a black sweatshirt with an orange design on the front, black shoes, and a black beanie with white beads, possibly palm trees. He was wearing a black mask and sunglasses. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
