Idaho Town Makes the Grade

A town in Idaho has been voted America’s 60th favorite small town to visit. FamilyDestinationsGuide.com, which offers kid-friendly vacation ideas, surveyed 3,000 families to find the top 150 across the country they’d love to spend time in this year. At number one is the tiny village of Holualoa Hawaii. In at number two was Ely, in Nevada, a remote former mining mountain town, which sits at the base of the Great Basin National Park. Number three is beautiful Anna Maria Island on Florida’s Gulf Coast. But at 60th place came the town of Sun Valley, Idaho. It is seen as a great vacation destination for families due to its wide range of outdoor activities, stunning scenery, and family-friendly attractions. Other Idaho towns included in the top 150 were Sandpoint (62nd) and Stanley (149th), where families can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, camping, and rafting.
