The Idaho Department of Fish & Game is now accepting applications for landowners to participate in the Access YES! Program in the Clearwater Region. The program is aimed at promoting public access for sportsmen to hunt, fish, and trap on private lands, but contrary to what some believe, it does not mean wide open access. Property owners decide when the property is accessible and what harvest seasons are recognized on their property. Owners can restrict species within a harvest season and the type of travel such as foot travel-only, horseback riding, or ATV/UTV accessible. For additional information visit www.idfg.idaho.gov
