Big Drug Sweep

FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force has been conducting a sweeping federal investigation into drug trafficking activity in the City of Yakima. That investigation resulted in the execution of multiple federal search warrants and the seizure of more than 120,000 fentanyl-laced pills and more than 42 pounds of methamphetamine. Also seized were a loaded Beretta pistol and approximately $152,000 in U.S. Currency, including approximately $100,000 that was buried outside one residence and the indictment of one man on a long list of charges. The investigation is said to be ongoing, and more charges are possible.
