Idaho Man Headed to Prison for Federal Gun Crime

An Idaho man is headed to federal prison after being sentenced for a federal gun crime. 29 year old Isaac Bright of Nampa, was sentenced to ten years in federal prison, the maximum allowable sentence, for unlawful possession of a firearm. He was arrested for another reason, but at the time of the arrest, Bright was prohibited from possessing firearms due to a 2016 conviction… also for unlawful possession of a firearm. Bright is a documented member of the Latin Kings gang with an extensive criminal history. At the time of his most recent arrest, Bright was on supervised release for the 2016 firearm offense. In addition to the decade behind bars, the judge also ordered Bright to serve three years of supervised release when he is finally released again.
