Online scoping questionnaires will be available beginning on Tuesday, February 21 and they will close for comment February 25th. It comes as the Idaho Fish And Game Department is scoping angler input for upcoming spring and summer Chinook fisheries. In-person meetings are being held this week and next week, but Fish and Game are gathering online public input from February 21 to the 25th for those who are unable to attend in-person meetings. After reviewing anglers’ feedback and considering agency goals, season proposals will be developed and presented to the commission at the meeting in Boise on March 16 for spring Chinook seasons. Summer Chinook seasons will be set by the commission in May or June.
