82 Year Old Accused Murderer Ruled Not Competent to Stand Trial

“Not Competent To Stand Trial For Murder”… that was the finding of a doctor who was asked by the court to do an evaluation of 82 year old Kay Morrison of Lewiston, who is facing criminal charges including murder. That finding came after her defense attorneys filed a motion to have her evaluated for competency on December 2nd. Now, the Department of Health and Welfare will determine the appropriate placement for her to be restored and then to be able to assist in her defense to stand trial. The pending criminal charges will be paused until Morrison is deemed competent by the court to stand trial and face the charges that she has been accused of. ‘
