Crews with the Asotin County Fire District #1 and Clarkston Fire department answered a call from a mobile home about a fire just after 2 Saturday afternoon. When crews arrived at the mobile home park at 1445 Elm, the home was full of smoke with flames starting to appear out of windows. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to just that one home, and keep it from spreading to others nearby. Nobody was home when the fire started. The people living there are being assisted now by the Red Cross. The home and its contents were completely destroyed. Nobody was hurt. The cause has yet to be determined.
