Funny Money Found in Asotin

Asotin Police are investgating after a counterfeit $100 bill was received by the Asotin Anatone School District during a fundraiser activity. Police say unfortunately, due to the number of hands the bill passed through, and the amount of money collected, it was impossible to identify how the funny money was collected. In the meantime, police warn everyone to be extra wary of large denomination bills you did not receive directly from a bank. They say if you do get a fake bille, do not return it to the passer. Delay the passer if possible, observe their description, as well as that of any companions, and the license plate numbers of any vehicles used. Then contact police.
