Family Seeking Assistance to Recover Drowning Victim’s Body

The family of a man from Washington who drowned last week in the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, is now asking the public for help in efforts to recover his body. It happened last Tuesday. Authorities say 63-year-old Robert Gray of Mill Creek, Washington, was floating the Middle Fork near Boundary Creek when his raft hit a log jam. He was tossed into the water that was about 40 degrees, and then was carried away by the swift current. The body was located last Wednesday, submerged in a log jam, but as of yesterday, it remained in the water due to the heavy current.
