Emergency Landing in Lewiston

Tragedy was averted at the Lewiston Airport, after the control tower was notified by a pilot of engine troubles and the aircraft was headed back to the airport. Lewiston Fire Department responded, and crews were staged at the airport in preparation for the arrival of the airplane in distress. The small twin-engine plane with 3 passengers on board had departed Lewiston 10 minutes prior and was headed for Idaho Falls. The plane was able to land successfully with no damage to the plane and nobody was hurt.
