Lower Granite Lock and Dam will be starting their winter hours for public dam crossing this Sunday, September 4. Winter public crossing hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Crossing will be closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s but plans… at this time anyway… call for it to be open all other federal holidays unless notified in advance. Just to be safe, you can call in advance for the most up to date dam crossing information. The number is 888-326-4636.
