One person was sent to the hospital with injuries after a crash that happened Tuesday afternoon just before 3 on US Highway 12 near mile post 30 in Nez Perce County. Police say a 41-year-old commercial truck driver from Florida was eastbound when he drove off the shoulder into the ditch, then attempted to correct and get back onto the highway when the box trailer overturned. There has been no update on that driver’s condition.
